WHO WE ARE
Stoughton Media Access Corporation (SMAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing the residents of Stoughton with the ability to create and produce their own Public, Government, and Educational access programs.
SMAC was formed in November 2009 and has operated an access facility in north Stoughton since 2011. SMAC is overseen by a five-member Board of Directors and operated day-to-day by a Station Manager.
Interested in learning how to produce your own show, or assisting with a current one? We’re always looking for crew for shows already on air and others in the works. Don’t just watch TV — make it.
Stoughton Media Access Corporation Mission Statement:
Our mission is to serve as a vital resource for the Stoughton community by providing access to independent, local, Public, Education, Government related programming that are timely as they relate to events affecting the Town of Stoughton that inform, inspire and educate. We are dedicated to providing unbiased and equal access for all points of view to the public, local programmers and government stakeholders that ensure Stoughton residents have access to transparent and topical content. We strive to provide access to the equipment, studios and public spaces throughout Stoughton to foster the expression of all points of view for informational and entertainment purposes creating a forum with positive atmosphere in which all Stoughton residents belong.
